Here's How You Can Help

heres how to helpOur friends at the Cyrenians have let us know that they are in short supply for their food bank so we are planning to open up an avenue to support them as they continue their work with those in need in our city. We have a list from them of items they appreciate donations of, so, now that lockdown restrictions are easing a bit, we propose to have a specific time during the week when the church door will be open for people to drop off donations.

If you would like to donate, these are the supplies they need:

  • Tinned foods
  • Tinned Meat
  • Pulses
  • Desserts: custard & rice pudding etc
  • Tinned Fruit
  • Tinned Vegetables
  • Tomato Soup
  • Instant Meals (instant noodles etc are always really needed)
  • Multipack Crisps
  • Toiletries
  • * No homemade food (they always appreciate the gesture but sadly can't use any of it)
To comply with safety and social distancing policies, there will be two members of staff in the main foyer, with the main door hooked open to allow you to pop your donation into the entrance porch - and give us a wave - without touching any doors. (It will be okay if you want to pull your car into the church grounds while you drop off.)

This will take place between 1pm and 2pm on Mondays from 29th June – we look forward to seeing some of you then!
